Apps With Aptitude (Primary)
Apps With Aptitude was created as a collaborative space for participants at the 2012 ISTE conference who attended my BYOD session. During the session I shared tips for successfully integrating apps on mobile devices into the primary classroom while maintaining an inquiry-based classroom structure.
I loaded this wiki with Apps that have been highly rated and/or that I have found to be successful in supporting the thinking and learning of primary (K-1-2) students. Participants in the session explored the apps and posted their own recommendations and comments.
Feel free to share your thoughts about any of the apps you find listed here or add a few of your own.
